Midland Cool is looking for a air conditioning and refrigeration service engineer to work within the West Midlands and surrounding areas. You must have previous experience of working within the industry and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
– Service and maintenance of fixed air conditioning systems, including but not limited to splits, multi’s and VRV/VRF systems.
– Call outs / repairs to fixed systems
– Service and repair of our portable fleet of air conditioning units / heaters / dehumidifiers / evaporative coolers.
– Delivery and collection, site positioning and installing of our portable air conditioning units / heaters / dehumidifiers / evaporative coolers
You will be required to have a working knowledge of all air conditioning manufacturers, but mainly Daikin, Fujitsu and Mitsubishi.
MUST have the following:
– City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent
– Minimum 1 year previous experience
– Clean UK driving licence
Ideal but not essential:
– NVQ2/3 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
– CSCS Card
– Manual Handling
– Asbestos Awareness
– Safe use of ladders and step ladders
Ideal candidate will live within a 20 mile radius of the Birmingham Depot.
You must be smart in appearance and have good communication skills both written and verbal as you will be required to liaise with clients and provided them with detailed report sheets following site visits.
