UK: Steve Gill, leading UK refrigeration consultant and current president of the IoR, has been invited to join ASHRAE’s refrigeration committee for 2017/18.

The refrigeration committee is responsible for promoting refrigeration education and development in the field of refrigeration at chapter, regional and international levels of ASHRAE. The committee consists of a chair, vice chair and 10 voting members.

In what is seen as a significant honour, Steve Gill’s selection will see him exchanging information and networking with refrigeration experts from around the world for a term of up to three years.

Others on the committee include Martin Dieryckx, general manager of Daikin Europe; Didier Coulomb, director of the International Institute of Refrigeration; refrigerant expert Barbara Minor, senior technical fellow at Chemours; and Rajan Rajendran, vice-president at Emerson Climate Technologies’ Helix innovation centre.
