Danfoss to livestream tour of Smart Store

DENMARK: Danfoss is to open up its pioneering Smart Store Application Development Centre to a live-streamed virtual tour. 

Opened in 2023 in Nordborg, Denmark, the store features cutting-edge technology and off-the-shelf solutions for reducing energy consumption, food loss, and carbon footprint.

Danfoss says that the event on October 23 will be an opportunity for equipment manufacturers, contractors and food retail professionals to explore innovation and sustainability.

Attendees will experience a virtual tour of the facilities as the Danfoss food retail team walks through how Danfoss’ portfolio of solutions can work together cohesively, followed by a live Q&A session featuring Danfoss’ food retail and CO2 refrigeration experts Dean Groff, sales and service manager; DJ Frye, sales and service director; Mark Sever, global solutions expert; and Ejnar Luckmann, technical manager of the Smart Store ADC.

According to Danfoss, participants will gain firsthand insights into the real-life applications of Danfoss’ scalable cooling and heating technologies that has made its Smart Store 50% more energy efficient than traditional models while decreasing upfront costs.

During the tour, participants will see live demonstrations of a range of innovative systems, including: advanced CO2 refrigeration systems, heat recovery solutions, monitoring and management solutions and energy balancing.
