Fujitsu UK adds chillers

Ian Carroll: “an important joint product development for both companies”

UK: Clint and Montair chillers are now available from Fujitsu General Air Conditioning, under an agreement with Italian group GI Holding (GIH).

The expansion of the product range follows the commercial air conditioning development and sales agreement signed in 2017 between the Japanese manufacturer and GIH.

Fujitsu UK’s new offering includes both air-cooled and water-cooled liquid chillers in heat pump and cooling only models (Fujitsu adds Clint and Montair chillers).

Ian Carroll, COO of Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK, said: “This is an important joint product development for both companies, and we are excited about the new products coming through. We will combine the extensive technological resource available throughout the organisation and its partners, with the high-quality level of support provided by the teams in the UK.  The Clint and Montair combinations with new low GWP refrigerant options will provide the opportunity to meet specifications across a wide market.”

Pre and post sales product support will be co-ordinated by Fujitsu’s UK technical team based at the organisations UK head office in Elstree, with relevant product training courses to be announced shortly.

GI Holding was formed in 2000 and is now responsible for a wide range of equipment including chillers, air handling units, fan coils, rooftop units and close control equipment. In addition to Montair and Clint, brands include KTK Klimatechnik chillers and Novair air handling units and fan coils.

The GIH network also includes the Hungarian manufacturing company Gimek Zrt, Malaysian manufacturing and trading business GI Industrial Asia Holding Sdn Bhd, and GI Middle East Fze, a trading company based in the United Arab Emirates. GIH operates four manufacturing plants in Italy, Hungary and  Malaysia.
