Africa turning green as Seychelles joins U-3ARC

BURKINA FASO: The islands of the Seychelles have become the 50th member of U-3ARC, the Union of Associations of African Actors in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

The association, established in 2020, was the brainchild of Madi Sakandé, general manager of the Italian company New Cold System. It was formed in order to contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of Africa and overcome the environmental challenges linked to the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.

With the addition of the Seychelles, U-3ARC’s map of Africa has turned almost entirely green. Only Libya, Sierra Leone, Eritrea and the island of Sao Tome And Principe are still to join.
