Armacell to acquire Austrian insulation company Austroflex

Austroflex operates from a 55,000m2 facility near Villach

LUXEMBOURG: Insulation manufacturer Armacell has announced its intention to acquire the Austrian company Austroflex Rohr-Isoliersysteme GmbH for an undisclosed sum. 

The transaction is said to have been signed pending satisfaction of all conditions, with the deal expected to close in Q4 2022.

Founded in 1985, Austroflex Rohr-Isoliersysteme GmbH is a family-run company focusing on energy-efficient and durable products for heating and cooling distribution. 

The company’s 55,000m² facility in Gödersdorf, south of Villach, produces a range of HVAC flexible insulated pipe systems, as well as heat pump and solar connection systems, rock wool pipe shells and  a complete range of pipe and panel insulation.
