ASERCOM updates condensing unit tool

GERMANY: The refrigeration and air conditioning component manufacturers’ association ASERCOM has revised and updated its online condensing unit comparison tool.

The list of certified condensing units, which now numbers nearly 3,000, is one of the most frequently accessed contents on the ASERCOM website.

Due to the growing share of refrigerants with higher glide, an exact indication of the evaporation condition is now added to the information.

“The evaporating temperature specification has an impact on the performance data. That is why we now specify what the evaporating temperature refers to. This allows our users to make a fair comparison of the listed condensing units,” explained ASERCOM president Marco Masini.

The list of condensing units offers extensive filtering and sorting functions. Direct links to the Ecodesign data provide more detailed information.
