F-gas a topic at “natural” refrigerants conference

BELGIUM: Bas Eickhout, the rapporteur for the F-gas revision, and Bente Tranholm Schwarz, deputy head of DG Clima, are booked to participate in next month’s ATMO Europe conference.

Eickhout and Tranholm Schwarz will contribute to a panel discussion on the impact of changes in the EU F-gas regulation at the event organised by “natural” refrigerants group ATMOsphere.

Other topics at the two-day event will include industry case studies covering CO2, hydrocarbons and ammonia refrigerants, end-user experiences, policy developments, market updates on heat pumps, the health and environmental impact of f-gas refrigerants, training, SF6-free switchgear technologies, the ATMOsphere Natural Refrigerants label, and the Cold Chain Innovation Hub in the Philippines.

This year’s summit, the 12th edition of ATMO Europe, will be held at the Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre in the centre of Brussels from November 15-16.
