Güntner appoints Puntigam as European MD

GERMANY: Commercial refrigeration heat exchanger product manufacturer Güntner has appointed Gernot Puntigam as managing director Europe.

He replaces Martin Haug who has joined German industrial and commercial refrigeration systems provider Amberger Kühltechnik GmbH as MD.

Puntigam joins Güntner from thermal processes and combustion firm Saacke GmbH, where he was general manager of the company’s Shanghai office. Prior to that he spent eight years at compression technology, drive technology and hydraulics business Hoerbiger in a number of global roles.

In his new role at Guntner, Puntigam assumes responsibility for sales, marketing, product management and digitalisation.
