Halton expands in healthcare sector

FINLAND: Finnish indoor air company Halton has acquired CRC Medical, a Swedish company operating in the Scandinavian healthcare and cleanroom sector.

Founded in 2009, CRC Medical offers tailored ventilation solutions for operating rooms and cleanrooms in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. The company has four employees and a turnover of around €1.5m. The business will be renamed Halton Health AB.

The acquisition is seen to strengthen Halton’s presence in the Swedish HVAC market, becoming a market leader in operating room ventilation solutions.

Announcing the acquisition, SBA Halton director Anu Saxén said: “This will enable us to provide our customers with a complete range of high-quality solutions for both healthcare and cleanroom environments.”
