SUPCO acquired by NSI Industries

USA: Sealed Unit Parts Co (SUPCO), the New-Jersey-based manufacturer and distributor of HVACR parts, components, test instruments, and tools, has been acquired by NSI Industries.

Founded in 1945 in the Bronx, New York City, SUPCO engineers are credited with inventing the patented Bullet Line Tap valve in the 1960s, discovered the PTC technology behind the company’s two-wire air conditioning and refrigeration hard start kits, and manufactured the first ever electronic vacuum gauge in the 1990s.

Today, SUPCO operates manufacturing facilities in New Jersey, the Midwest and abroad. Within the past 15 years, SUPCO’s strategic growth has included acquisitions of Climate Technology Corporation (CTC), A-1 Components, Cam-Stat, NAPCO and Aquasolve Chemical Company.

NSI Industries is a leading provider of electrical, HVAC and building technology product solutions for more than 45 years.
