Swedish contractor Francks expands in Norway

SWEDEN/NORWAY: Swedish refrigeration contractor Francks Kylindustri has expanded its operations into neighbouring Norway with the acquisitions of industrial refrigeration contractor Therma Industri AS and cooling and ventilation firm Invent AS.

Therma Industri AS is a major Norwegian supplier of industrial cooling and heating solutions with a focus on natural refrigerants. It had a turnover of NOK300m (€30m) in 2020.

Invent AS, with branches in Bergen and Fjell, is a supplier of air treatment, refrigeration and freezing systems, primarily aimed at public buildings, industry and commercial buildings. It has sales of around NOK35m (€3.5m).

Francks Kylindustri is a leading Swedish supplier of industrial and commercial cooling solutions with 28 offices in Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Luleå in the north.
