Ciat an all-round winner in Oval Village

UK: Seven hundred bespoke Ciat Comfort Line fan coils have been installed in the first phase of Oval Village, a new residential development next to the famous Oval cricket ground.

Berkeley Homes Central London is developing the 3.2 hectare site in south London with 1,332 new homes across seven residential buildings, along with a new Tesco and more than 15,000m2 of community, commercial, office and retail space.

The project is transforming the area into a cultural hub for residents and visitors through the regeneration of the iconic Oval Gasholders built in 1847.

In the first phase of Oval Village opened in September, the 286 Manhattan, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments integrated Ciat’s Comfort Line units along with Epure air purification technology, which ensuries a PM2.5 particulate concentration.

“We chose the Ciat units because they could support the simple control method specified,” said Cameron Malcolm, MD of contractor Malcolm Building Services.

The Comfort Line units were redesigned to accommodate collapsible filters to cope with small access hatches, as well as extended drain trays to accommodate the larger valve arrangements specified for the project.
