Cooling adventure park is child’s play

UK: When a new kids indoor adventure and trampoline park required perfect indoor climate conditions for its clients it called upon Panasonic and its Jet Air Stream units.

The new 2,300m2 AirHop venue, a high-ceilinged warehouse in Gloucester, opened in the summer.

AirHop required a reliable, energy-efficient system to maintain visitor comfort year-round without inflating operating costs. The solution came in the form of seven Panasonic Jet Air Stream 25kW units, supplied and installed by Aura Air Conditioning.

According to Panasonic, the Jet Air Stream Smart models ensure optimal comfort by preventing heat loss, and offer high air distribution for large spaces such as sports halls, warehouses and industrial commercial spaces. The smart jet self-directing nozzles are said to offer ideal temperature control and maintenance to the specified area.

AirHop Gloucester’s grand opening on 11 July 2025 coincided with a 33°C heatwave, providing a real-world performance test for the new system from day one.

Although installation required scaffold towers to reach the mounting points, the project ran smoothly and was completed on schedule.

Aura Air Conditioning confirmed that there were more orders to install at AirHop’s upcoming Tunbridge Wells and Nottingham sites. The larger Nottingham venue, will also include Panasonic VRF split systems for the dining area, providing a complete climate control solution.
