Daikin lands $11m order for UAE

UAE: Daikin has received an order worth over AED40m ($11m) from a leading private developer in the UAE.

The order placed by Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, comprises 72 air-cooled chillers, over 10,000 fan coil units and 62 fresh air handling units.

The units are scheduled for installation in over 35 of Azizi’s buildings in Riviera, Dubai’s new waterfront-lifestyle landmark in MBR City, for Creek Views, Azizi’s 634-unit modern luxury development in Dubai Healthcare City, as well as for Berton, the developer’s exceptionally well-connected residential development in the heart of Dubai’s new growth corridor, Al Furjan.

“This major contract award, which is the latest in our recent sourcing efforts, follows an in-depth analysis of the world’s most prominent HVAC system suppliers,” revealed Afzaal Hussain, Azizi Developments’ chief operating officer.

A delighted Masaaki Miyatake, chairman and president of Daikin Middle East and Africa, said: “The communities that we will be supplying – Riviera, Creek Views and Berton – are all exceptional residential destinations that we see our distinguished products as the perfect fit for.”

Azizi Developments is a leading Dubai-based developer with thousands of homes in its extensive portfolio of modern luxury developments.
