Daikin offers to hide your condensing unit

UK: Condensing units may not be a building’s most attractive feature, so one air conditioning manufacturer is now offering a “wrapping” service to blend a unit with its background.

Daikin UK, the UK subsidiary of the Japanese manufacturer, is offering a service  which enables a unit to be merged with its background by creating a wrap that is matched as closely as possible, using a high quality photograph.

The new unit wrapping service is already said to be proving to be very popular, having been included on many different projects with wrapped condensers appearing in retail premises and office facilities, featuring brickwork and a number of other coverings.

This customised wrapping service can be applied to any Daikin condensing unit – Altherma, Split, Sky Air and VRV.

Daikin carries out all aspects of the service in house to ensure the highest quality. Each panel is removed, wrapped and carefully replaced. It is delivered to site with the required protective packaging.

The wrapping is also covered by the Daikin warranty.
