Efficient AC now arriving at Platform 21

UK: Air conditioning contractor Coolair Equipment Ltd is to supply the latest energy efficient cooling and heating technology to one of Birmingham’s most prestigious office developments.
Coolair’s Cannock office has been awarded a £900,000 contract by Imtech Engineering Services Central on behalf of Wates Construction to help provide the best possible working environment at Platform 21.
The 10-storey building, formerly known as The Charters, is being refurbished to create 120,000ft2 of Grade A office space and include a repositioned double height glazed reception.
Coolair will supply and install 18 Mitsubishi Electric heat recovery VRF systems along with 218 ducted indoor fan coil units. The contract also includes the installation of a DX split system with roof-level condensers and 60 Lossnay heat recovery ventilation units.
Work on site on the project is due for completion in the first quarter of 2020.
