Pitkin & Ruddock chooses Panasonic system
20th June 2025
UK: HVAC installer Pitkin & Ruddock chose an integrated environmental solution from Panasonic for its flagship HQ in Bury St Edmunds.
The purpose-built Bob Ruddock Centre, which the company moved into last year, houses the firms’ technical sales, engineering, senior management, service centre and a new dedicated training academy across 5,500ft2.
The two-storey facility features two Panasonic 3-pipe ECOi EC MF3 VRF units, an Aquarea air-to-water heat pump for domestic hot water, heat recovery systems for both floors plus a twin split AC system utilising a combination of compact and standard cassettes units with nanoe X technology.

Being designed during covid-19, indoor air quality was a central concern and, hence, Panasonic’s nanoe X technology, a standard feature in the installed cassettes, was chosen. Nanoe X uses the natural occurring hydroxyl radicals to inhibit certain pollutants, allergens, and viruses in supporting healthier air indoors.
Pitkin & Ruddock has worked with Panasonic since 2017 and are Panasonic Elite Pro Partners. As such, the team is now able to offer training for apprentices in their new onsite training academy.
Established in 1954, Pitkin & Ruddock offers complete temperature controlled solutions, service and planned maintenance on refrigeration, heat recovery, ventilation, heat pumps and air conditioning staff will advise and deploy the most appropriate solution your business needs.
