Toshiba adds to stylish upgrade

UK: Toshiba VRF and digital inverter split system air conditioners are part of a major refurbishment of The Swan at Streatley, a boutique hotel overlooking the River Thames in Berkshire.

A combination of SHRM-e three-pipe heat recovery VRF systems and DI splits supply the hotel’s guest rooms, function rooms, gym and spa, brasserie and bar and restaurant. The system was installed by Hertfordshire-based Chapman Ventilation.

Four outdoor units provide condensing for the VRF system, while eight large capacity DI condensing units complete the split system. The project also includes three over-door air curtains to help keep the building cool in summer and warm in winter. The entire system is controlled by a TCUK Black Pear control and monitoring system.
