Capital Cooling offers “touch-free” cabinets

UK: Capital Cooling has launched contact-free commercial refrigerator cabinets using Italian manufacturer ISA’s Smartflex technology.

With its automatic doors offering a new touch-free way to shop post Covid-19, this is said to be the first commercial refrigerator with Smartflex technology to be sold to the UK

Fitted with sensors, the mobile wings rotate inwards when motion is detected.

Capital Cooling has also listed other benefits, with claims you can save up to 40% on energy consumption as the fridge’s doors can’t be left open, wasting energy. And, unlike refrigerators with solid doors that require a clear width of space on either side, the Smartflex integrated refrigerator just requires the space its placed on.
