Climalife to promote new R404A alternative

CHILLVENTA 2016 PREVIEW: Climalife will be presenting a range of new products and ideas on its stand.

Of the new refrigerants, the new Honeywell Solstice L40X (R455A) will be a highlight. A blend of 75.5% HFO R1234yf, 21.5% R32 and 3% CO2, R455A is an A2L gas with a low GWP of 148. It is said to match the capacity of R404A and has the same or better efficiency.

Climalife-appF-Gas Solutions, the smartphone app developed by Climalife and launched at last year’s Chillventa to great success, has been upgraded by adding the thermodynamic properties of each fluid.

Designed to help its 18,000 users deal with the the European F-gas regulations, the app provides the the CO2 equivalents of refrigerants and includes an essential refrigerant charge calculator.

Also featured will be Climalife’s new Mooviz cylinder for CO2. With a capacity of 10kg, the Mooviz is lighter in weight and comes with its own wheels for ease of handling.

The new Mobil SHC Gargoyle 80 POE, specifically designed for use with CO2, will also be promoted, along with Frionett Power Ultra, a new cleaning product for use on all outside surfaces of cooling installations.

Presentation

Current and upcoming solutions for refrigerants, lubricants, and heat transfer fluids will be the subject of an interactive conference to be presented by Climalife on Wednesday 12 September 2016, in the Kiev room at 11am.
