Daikin air-to-water heat pump on R454C

BELGIUM: Daikin has announced the new EWYE-CZ air-to-water Inverter heat pump, equipped with inverter scroll compressor and using R454C refrigerant.

With vapour Injection and an economizer, the new EWYE-CZ range is available in eight sizes from 16kW to 70kW, supplying water from 20°C to 70°C.

In addition, it can operate at high ∆T values, allowing hot water to be delivered to different heating applications within the system. It can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 40°C.

It is available in three configurations with one to four inline fans and with one or two independent refrigerant circuits. This range also includes an integrated inverter water pump, simplifying installation and optimising space.

Despite its capacity, the EWYE-CZ is said to have a minimal footprint. A low-noise version is also available.
