Daikin to launch CO2 ZEAS

BELGIUM: Daikin Europe is to launch a CO2 version of its ZEAS refrigeration condensing unit on a stand dedicated to its sustainable refrigeration products at the Chillventa exhibition in Nuremberg.
The new ZEAS and a propane monoblock will be exhibited in hall 7 alongside the growing range of refrigeration products created by Daikin’s acquisitions of Zanotti, Tewis and AHT.
With its air conditioning and heat pump stand featured in hall 4A, this is the first time that Daikin Europe has dedicated a stand to refrigeration.
The Daikin CO2 ZEAS packaged condensing units are available in 8hp to 12hp and a 15hp model, providing cooling to display cabinets and evaporators from -4º to +5º. The use of Daikin’s two stage technology is said to ensure a lower compression ratio at each step, lower energy consumption, lower discharge temperature, lower stress on the compressor and longer lifetime.
The new inverter-controlled propane Monoblock is said to be low-noise and easily retrofittable, easy to install, with easy access for maintenance. Being compact, the units can also be mounted in ceilings and will come with a remote monitoring system with a dedicated app and Cloud Services.
The new CO2 ZEAS, along with the already marketed CO2 Conveni-Packs and TEWIS CO2 Racks will be complemented by newly launched AHT CO2 remote display cases.
