Danfoss extends Optyma A2L range

DENMARK: Danfoss has extended the cooling capacity range of its Optyma condensing units and releases new A2L-compatible MLZ and LLZ scroll compressors.

According to Danfoss, the extension of the Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus condensing units’ cooling capacity range — and the launch of the A2L-ready MLZ and LLZ scroll compressors (evolution B) — Danfoss continues its efforts to enable the transition to ultra-low GWP refrigerants.

The Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus are now available up to 11.1kW MBP. In addition, Optyma Slim Pack is available up to 1.5kW LBP for Optyma Slim Pack and up to 3.5kW LBP for Optyma Plus.

They are compatible with both A2L and A1 refrigerants, including, for instance, R1234yf, R454C, and R455A.

Complementing the extended Optyma range, the Danfoss MLZ evolution B scroll series is now compatible with A2L refrigerants. The LLZ evolution B scroll series will follow soon, says Danfoss.
