Emicon adds propane brine chiller

ITALY: The Emicon RAS MC VB Kp propane brine chiller for medium temperature refrigeration applications offers cooling capacities from 31kW to 250kW.

These air-cooled units are equipped with ATEX-certified semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors, axial fans and microchannel condenser coils.

The units are said to be able to operate in all seasons with outdoor ambient temperatures from +40°C to -20°C, delivering a brine water outlet temperature down to -14°C.

EERs and SEPRs up to 3.7 in MT applications (-8°C) are said to be achieved.

The operational range from -2°C down to -14°C of brine outlet temperatures is said to make this series suitable for various applications, such as food retail, food storage, food processing, winery and brewery, industrial processes, etc.

Other main features include one or two independent cooling circuits equipped with one or two compressors for each circuit. They can also interface with BMS systems and an ATEX leak sensor and ATEX extraction fans.
