Fujitsu expands R32 line

UK: Fujitsu has introduced a new range of wall mounted R32 air conditioning units, boasting cooling capacities of 2kW to 4.2kW and heating outputs ranging from 2.5kW to 5.4kW.

Available from this month, each system is ErP rated A++ and is said to benefit from a high density multi-path heat exchanger and a high efficiency fan.

All indoor units are slim, measuring 270mm x 834mm, and only 222mm deep, while the combination of a Lamda heat exchanger, large cross flow fan and R32 refrigerant is said to ensure high efficiency. Units also boast a slim and stylish square aesthetic, as well as a large louvre. In addition, a new internal airflow design ensures an even and comfortable distribution of air, as well as quiet operation at 20dB(A).

An optional smart control is also available, using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

Commenting on the new units, Colin Goode, product manager at Fujitsu, said: “We have introduced these new systems not only to expand our range, but also further prepare for the forthcoming R32 regulations. With four wall-mounted models available, installers have a greater range of options to choose from, each of which is easy to fit and commission, while boasting higher levels of energy efficiency.”
