Hitachi launches Air365 Max (Pro) R32 VRF
13th October 2026
GERMANY: Launched at this week’s Chillventa show, Air365 Max (Pro) is Hitachi’s latest VRF system for commercial projects and using R32 refrigerant.
Available in both the standard air365 Max and high-efficiency Max Pro models, the range covers capacities from 5hp to 54hp (14kW to 150 kW) and delivers efficiencies of up to 8.97 SEER and 5.01 SCOP.
It incorporates Hitachi’s next-generation scroll inverter compressor with vapour injection technology, enabling heating operation at outdoor temperatures as low as -25°C.
The R32 series is equipped as standard with Hitachi’s factory-integrated AirSerenity safety concept, which includes integrated refrigerant leak detection sensors, audible and visual remote alarms, and optional shut-off valves that isolate leaks while keeping unaffected zones running.
Installation and commissioning are simplified through NFC technology and the AirCloud Tap application, allowing installers to configure units and replicate settings directly from a smartphone.
The system also integrates Hitachi’s established technologies, including Smart Defrost, Gentle Cool and Smooth Drive Control 2.0, which help optimise comfort, maintain stable room temperatures and improve system performance under varying load conditions.
