Largest Copeland R290 scroll

GERMANY: Emerson has launched what it claims is the largest R290 scroll compressor on the market.
The Copeland YB**K1G scroll compressor range encompasses four models from 10-15hp with a cooling capacity from 13 to 22kW at medium temperature refrigeration conditions (-10/45°C).
The compressors are said to be ideal for refrigeration chillers, with secondary loop in the store, in medium temperature retail cabinets and cold rooms, with heat recovery option.
Best in-class high seasonal system efficiencies are claimed, due to the compressors’ part-load performance and low superheat capabilities.
The R290 fully hermetic design comes with an IP65 ATEX Terminal Box, but it is also available in an IP54 version.
