OUB joins Danfoss’ CO₂ oil management range

DENMARK: Danfoss is introducing a new range of high-performance oil separators and receivers for CO2 transcritical systems.

The OUB becomes part of Danfoss’ CO2 oil management ecosystem offering up to 140bar operating pressure, advanced filtration and flexible options across serviceable and hermetic types.

“With OUB, we’re giving OEMs a technically advanced oil management solution that integrates seamlessly into high-pressure CO2 systems. It’s engineered for reliability, serviceability and long-term performance in demanding applications,” commented Danfoss global solutions expert Mark Sever.

Two construction types, with three core variants are available: OUB-TSR serviceable, with receiver; OUB-TSN serviceable, without receiver; OUB-THR hermetic, with receiver.

Serviceable models feature a 3300cm² filtration area in a V-shape design for extended service intervals. Its advanced multi-layer filter design, with stainless steel mesh, fibre fleece and perforated metal, promote strength and clog resistance.

Filtration capacity is down to 0.3 microns, with three-stage coalescing filtration for progressive oil droplet growth.

Hermetic models use demister technology for 3-10 micron filtration, offering maintenance-free operation and long service life.
