Panasonic upgrades the server room air conditioner

EUROPE: Panasonic’s latest server room air conditioner offers greater energy efficiency with an improved SEER of up to A+++ SEER compared to its predecessor.

Replacing the TKEA, the new YKEA indoor and outdoor units come in five capacities ranging from 2.5kW to 7.1kW. It is said to provide stable cooling operation even at an outside temperature as low as -25°C.

The systems come with a Duty Rotation Mode which enables two indoor units to operate alternatively at regular intervals to maintain room temperature.

The latest system also includes a new generation remote control design. The large LCD screen is said to provide detailed information in a simple format and ensures easy operation with quick menu access and pictured display. In addition, the solution has built-in wi-fi for smart control, allowing instant connectivity and the ability to remotely monitor energy consumption and receive alert notifications with a smartphone.
