SPX brings Recold cooling towers to Europe

UK: US manufacturer SPX Cooling Technologies is introducing its Recold range of forced-draft cooling towers into Europe and the Middle East markets.

The Recold brand J Series range of towers expands SPX’s current EMEAI offering, by aligning with its well known Marley evaporative cooling brand.

The Recold JW fluid cooler and JT cooling tower employ copper heat exchanger coils for corrosion resistance and durability, while stainless steel is used for critical components such as coil tubesheets, doors, door guides, and pump anti-cavitation hoods. Other components and casing are made from Z725 heavy mill galvanised steel as standard.

Up to nine doors on larger models provide easy access to internal components for ease of maintenance. Water make-up valves are located in external float boxes to allow quick adjustments while the tower is operating. Standard features include a sloping basin bottom and an external water header cleanout.
