Swegon launches R290 heat pumps up to 200kW

ITALY: Swegon has launched a range of commercial air-source inverter heat pumps up to 200kW using propane (R290) refrigerant.

Launched today, the Blue Box Titan Sky is said to offer Eurovent-certified performance with SCOPs up to 4.12. The range covers five single-circuit models from 30kW to 100kW and four double-circuit versions from 110kW to 200kW.

The twin-circuit models provide complete redundancy and independent defrost on each circuit. The units are compact with frame depths of just 1130mm.

In addition to the use of inverter technology, the units employ reciprocating compressors and plate heat exchangers. A low noise version is available, along with the option of a desuperheater

The Titan Sky offers outlet water temperature up to 63°C and can operate down to -20°C ambient with outlet water up to +50°C.

A number of control and monitoring options are available. The Blue Box control platform allows a total access to the machine from any device, in complete autonomy.
