SWEP PHE for transcritical CO2 applications

SWEDEN: SWEP is launching the new B285H heat exchanger for transcritical CO2 applications.

The B285H has a new plate pattern optimised for high heat load capacities – up to 550kW as a gas cooler and for a flow capacity above 50m³/h.

The large capacity, compact and lightweight, B285 is said to be suitable for cold-chain applications, such as hypermarkets, supermarkets, and heat recovery. It is also suitable for different heat pump applications.

The new double plate technology enables it to meet demanding pressure requirements of up to 140bar. The mechanical strength in the double plate design feature of the B285H delivers a frameless solution that uses less material withstanding high pressure and heat loads.
