ASHRAE conference 2026 call for abstracts

USA: ASHRAE has opened the call for abstracts for its 2026 Annual Conference, which will take place from June 27 to July 1, 2026, in Austin, Texas.
The conference promises a robust technical programme focused on the industry’s most critical challenges and opportunities, including artificial intelligence, building decarbonisation and innovations in building design and systems.
More specifically, conference papers are requested for the following topics: hot climate building system design, operation and resilience; ground source heat pumps; AI in building design and construction; building decarbonisations; and fundamentals and applications
In addition, the Research Summit will focus on active research, and the exchange of research findings, critical to the development of the HVAC&R industry and built environment; Workforce Development will cover all aspects of business outside of engineering/technical applications.
Finally, the HVAC&R Systems and Equipment will focuses on the development of new systems and equipment.
Abstracts of 400 words or less should arrive by November 19, 2025. If accepted, final conference papers are due February 25, 2026. Further details here.
