LG expands heat pump training availability

UK: LG Electronics (LG) has opened a new training location in Derby, delivered in collaboration with training provider Heat Pump Central.

The expansion will increase access to hands on heat pump and HVAC training, supporting the development of a skilled workforce needed to scale low-carbon heating in the UK.

Established in 2016, Heat Pump Central is an independent, specialist heat pump distributor and training and technical support service provider. The accredited training site in Derby includes nine working demonstration models in situ.

Under the agreement, the Heat Pump Central site will provide practical, in-person training for LG heating and user interface technologies. In addition, Heat Pump Central offers nationally recognised BPEC training on heat pump systems, the MCS umbrella scheme and fast-track support pathway to MCS Accreditation.
