Webinar will mark International Women’s Day

BELGIUM: A special webinar dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and empowering women in the refrigeration and cooling sector has been organised to mark International Women’s Day on March 6.

Organised by AREA, UNEP, World Refrigeration Day (WRD) and the The International Network of Women in Cooling (INWIC), the webinar aims to highlight the indispensable contributions of women to refrigeration, inspire dialogue, and encourage broader participation and recognition.

Guest speakers will share their personal and professional experiences, discussing challenges, opportunities, and achievements throughout their careers. Their stories will show how women bring essential skills, perspectives, and leadership to refrigeration, driving innovation, sustainability, and excellence across the industry.

It is hoped that the discussion will encourage dialogue, inspire future generations, and reaffirm that the role of women is not only valuable, but indispensable to the present and future of the refrigeration sector.
