Bailess heads Celltherm Coldrooms

Andy Bailess will lead Celltherm Coldrooms Ltd

UK: Narborough-based Celltherm Coldrooms has announced the appointment of Andy Bailess as director following the retirement of Michael Lazenby, who has led the company for the last 30 years.

Bailess joined the company in 2016 as technical and installation manager following three years with J&E Hall.

This leadership transition follows the acquisition last year of the UK company’s German parent, Celltherm Isolierung GmbH, by AG Capital, an Austrian-based independent investment company.

Bailess will spearhead the UK operational strategy, aligned with AG Capital’s objective to expand the company’s operations through strategic acquisitions and focussed growth.

Acknowledging Michael Lazenby’s significant contributions, Andy Bailess said: “I am committed to building upon his legacy and steering Celltherm Coldrooms Limited through its next phase of growth.”

In a further appointment, Jordan Smith has joined the Celltherm UK team as project engineer. He was previously with Carter Synergy.
