BESCA CPS achieves UKAS re-accreditation

UK: The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has successfully achieved UKAS re-accreditation for its BESCA competent person scheme against ISO 17065.
Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17065 confirms that BESCA CPS operates to internationally recognised best practice, providing independent assurance that contractors are assessed consistently, competently, and transparently.
At a time when the Building Safety Act is raising expectations across the industry, BESA insists that the re-accreditation provides confidence that its members and CPS approved installers can demonstrate verified competence and compliance.
The BESCA CPS is authorised by the Health and Safety Executive allows businesses to self-certify that their works comply with the building regulations in England and Wales without the need to notify Building Control in advance or incur costly local authority inspection fees.
