Carrier seeks MD for UK&I

UK: Carrier is recruiting for the new role of managing director to head its UK, Ireland and Nordics commercial HVAC business.

The advert on the company’s website indicates that the successful applicant will be based at the UK headquarters in Leatherhead and will be responsible for implementing a customer-focused organisation strategy to deliver expansion and growth across multiple countries in northern Europe.

Carrier is seeking someone with “proven experience and record of success” as a managing director or in another senior managerial position, working in strategic initiatives, sales, and operations within a large corporate environment.

An extensive knowledge of delivering HVAC new equipment sales, service, rental, and controls systems solutions in Europe is preferred.

Commercial director

Meanwhile, Oliver Sanders has been promoted to take on the position of commercial director UK&I, a position vacated by Paul Smith, who joined Nibe as MD last month.

Formerly Carrier head of sales, Sanders moved over to Carrier in 2016 following two years with Toshiba.
