Daikin UK transfers after-sales to Robert Heath

UK: Daikin UK has transferred all its residential after-sales service operations in England and Wales to Robert Heath Heating, the Surrey-based service and maintenance company it acquired last year.

Robert Heath Heating will handle all residential service requests, including heat pump maintenance, repairs and warranty work. As a wholly owned subsidiary, Daikin UK insists that Robert Heath Heating provides long-term stability and assurance to customers.

Daikin UK’s own residential services engineers have already joined the Robert Heath Heating team of over 300 service engineers, which already delivers maintenance and repairs for more than 200,000 households across England and Wales.

Residential service in Scotland and Northern Ireland will continue to be provided by Daikin UK, whose remaining UK service teams will focus on commercial and industrial operations.

Daikin says that he move also enables it to offer homeowners flexible maintenance plans for its Altherma heat pumps, giving options that suit every household where installers prefer not to manage service themselves.

A newly-created dedicated residential business customer service team will provide a single point of contact for all after-sales requirements, simplifying the process for both end users and business partners.

“Customers want the assurance that their heat pump will be supported long after installation,” explained Daikin UK deputy MD Anthony Dimou. “With Robert Heath Heating as part of our Group, we now have the dedicated scale, technology and expertise to deliver that reassurance at pace and with consistency.”
