DiversiTech buys Island Leisure Products

UK: DiversiTech has acquired Sittingbourne-based Island Leisure Products (ILP) a manufacturer and supplier of rubber ground supports made from recycled truck tyres.

Established in 1989, Island Leisure Products is a leading UK manufacturer of safety tiles and the only UK manufacturer of support systems feet/vibration pads primarily used in the HVAC and solar markets. It has 32 employees.

DiversiTech UK has been ILP’s largest customer for the last decade. With this acquisition, DiversiTech says the addition of ILP in the UK and its acquisition of Italian manufacturer Niccons last year, places the company in a strong position in the European equipment mounting market.

Bill Hollington, the founder and president of ILP, will continue to run ILP in close collaboration with DiversiTech UK MD Dave Bass.
