FEM brings back Gram Professional

UK: Glasgow-based refrigeration supplier Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) is to offer Gram Professional equipment in the UK.

FEM will be distributing the latest range from the renowned Danish manufacturer, now renamed Gram Professional following a management buy out in 2023.

The Gram Professional product range includes a comprehensive choice of commercial foodservice refrigeration cabinets and counters as well as specialist products such as blast chillers and bakery cabinets.

Originally formed in 1901, Gram Commercial became independent from parent company Gram A/S in 2000, was acquired by the European arm of Japanese manufacturer Hoshizaki in 2008. Director Ole Brandorff-Lund joined forces with two other managers to buy the company when Hoshizaki subsequently wanted to close the factory in Vojens in 2022.

The Gram Professional products are marketed under the G+ umbrella brand, reflecting the manufacturer’s evolution.

“The UK is a key market for Gram,” said Ole Brandorf-Lund, who is now managing director of Gram Professional. “Partnering with FEM enables us to reintroduce the brand with a strong professional focus, backed by technical expertise and dedicated customer support.”

FEM will be stocking the complete range, starting with the G+ Compact series, for immediate availability to dealers and customers, with all products backed by a five-year warranty, and the supply of spare parts for the full range.
