General and TF end distribution agreement
9th January 2026
UK: The air conditioning distribution partnership between General HVAC Solutions UK (formerly Fujitsu) and TF Solutions is said to have been terminated by mutual agreement.
According to General, the ending of the distribution partnership “reflects an evolution in General HVAC Solutions UK’s route-to-market strategy”.
A company statement says: “Both companies remain committed to supporting customers throughout this transition period. The supply of systems for existing projects and complete solutions will be phased out in a structured manner, with further details to be communicated in due course.”
In response to questions from the Cooling Post, a company spokesman said: “In terms of distribution more broadly, General HVAC Solutions UK continues to work with its appointed distribution partners in line with its established approach.”
TF Solutions’ association with Fujitsu dates back to when the company first opened its doors in Stockport in 2001. The company later added Mitsubishi Electric and Samsung brands and expanded its branch network nationally. It was acquired by builders merchants group Travis Perkins in 2017.
The former Fujitsu General air conditioning business was acquired by Paloma Rheem last year. Renamed General this year, the UK subsidiary continues to sell through remaining distributors CDL, FSW, Oceanair, Ultimate Air and Wolseley Climate Center.
