Graeme Fox joins certification agency Quidos

UK: Graeme Fox, who quit his role as director of technical at BESA last month, has agreed to join certification agency Quidos as its new FGAS scheme director.

The current president of the IoR, Fox had led BESA’s REFCOM certification scheme since 2016.

“As the UK prepares to update its F-gas regulations, Graeme’s expertise will be crucial in helping our FGAS Register members meet these new rules and adjust smoothly to the changes,” Quidos said in a statement. “His leadership will ensure that our members get the support and advice they need to stay compliant and continue running their operations efficiently.”

A time-served air conditioning contractor, Fox was previously a director of European contractors’ group AREA for 18 years and president from 2010-14. He was also a director of the UK’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration UK Industry Board (ACRIB) for nine years, four of those as chairman.

Commenting on his new appointment, Fox said: As we look ahead to the revisions in the UK’s F-gas regulations, I’m excited to help businesses navigate these changes and work closely with government bodies to shape smarter, more effective regulation going forward.”
