Hayley Cattell appointed MD of Beijer Ref UK

UK: In changes to the leadership of Beijer Ref UK and Ireland, MD John Billson has been promoted to vice president. He is succeeded by group sales director Hayley Cattell.

Billson was appointed MD in 2015 after 11 years as MD of group company Dean & Wood. He will continue to oversee all Beijer Ref UK and Ireland operations whilst concentrating on group strategy.

Cattell has been with the business for over 15 years joining in 2010 as sales engineer for the north east of England. She later became product development manager, where she was instrumental in the introduction of CO2 condensing units, followed by several senior leadership positions. 

Winner of the Woman in Industry Award in 2024, she is also a chartered manager with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) as well as a being a fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration.
