Ian Carroll retires from General

Retiring as deputy CEO, Ian Carroll (left) with COO Phil Baker

UK: Ian Carroll, deputy CEO of General HVAC Solutions UK, is to retire after 12 years in his executive leadership role.

Carroll was appointed sales and marketing director of the former Fujitsu General Air Conditioning (UK) after two years as sales director at the company’s distribution business Wave Air Conditioning. Prior to that, he spent three years as national sales manager at refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaler Climate Center.

Thanking Carroll for his contribution, Takeshi Nakai, MD of General HVAC Solutions Euro GmbH, said: “His experience, knowledge and understanding of our customers will remain a tremendous asset to the business and will be inherited within the company lead by chief operating officer Phil Baker.”

Baker joined General in February after 12 years at Hawco, latterly as sales director.
