IoR celebrates long-standing ASHRAE alliance

IoR president Graeme Fox (left) receives the commemorative certificate from ASHRAE’s Bjarne W Olesen

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration (IoR) has been acknowledged for its long-standing affiliation with the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

The IoR has been a member of ASHRAE’s Associate Society Alliance for 60 years. To mark the achievement, IoR president Graeme Fox was presented with a certificate commemorating the alliance during the recent ASHRAE Winter Conference in Chicago.

The IoR said that the achievement underscored its dedication to maintaining an international presence and actively participating in the exchange of knowledge and ideas within the fields of refrigeration, airconditioning, and heat pumps.

“We believe that our partnership with ASHRAE has played a pivotal role in facilitating the IOR’s networking efforts on an international scale,” commented Graeme Fox.
