J S Wright in management buyout

UK: It has been confirmed that Birmingham-based M&E company JS Wright has been acquired by its senior management team, led by MD Marcus Aniol.

Aniol is now a major shareholder in the company alongside finance director Martin Roberts, design and estimating director Andrew Smith, mechanical contracts director Phil Leech and electrical contracts director Paul Featherston. Aniol and Roberts have been directors of the company since 2006.

Previous owners and main board directors Peter Marsh, Edwin Moore and David Osborne, who stepped down from the day-to-day running of the company in 2006, relinquished their positions at the end of last year.

JS Wright achieved a turnover of £34.4m in 2015, a 35% increase on the previous year. Profit increased by 119% in the same period to £2.32m.

Established in 1890, the company has offices in London and Bristol supporting its Birmingham headquarters.
