Kensa extends heat pump warranties

UK: Kensa has introduced a standard four-year warranty and a paid eight-year extended warranty on its ground-source heat pumps.

The company says its new warranty ensures customers receive clearer protection throughout the lifecycle of their heat pump.

Kensa will offer three options: a free 1-year out-the-box warranty, valid from shipment, and including parts and labour; a free four-year standard warranty including parts and labour, valid from commissioning, and registration required within 30 days; and a paid eight-year extended warranty, with prices from £480.

The warranties apply to UK installations and require installation by a Kensa‑approved, MCS‑certified, or competent installer.

“Our new warranty is designed to give customers greater clarity, better protection, and confidence,” commented sales director David Billingsley. “Our heat pumps are built to last, but when faults do happen, it’s vital that our product warranty mirrors Kensa’s hard-earned reputation for quality customer and technical support.”
