Kooltech opens branch in Cambridge

UK: Air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump distributor Kooltech is opening a new branch in Bar Hill near Cambridge.

The new 290m2 facility, which includes a trade counter, offices and warehouse, is situated just off the M11 and A14. It forms part of a wider investment by Kooltech in East Anglia and the home counties north of London.

“Our market-leading Mitsubishi Electric equipment, including cutting-edge commercial heat pumps, installation and service materials will be available either for collection from the trade counter, or delivery,” said Kooltech’s area product sales manager Stephen Challis.

The full address of the new trading location is Unit 1A, Gateway, Bar Hill, Cambridge CB23 8SQ.

The building – a Grade A sustainable building with an EPC rating of A+ – includes Mitsubishi Electric heating and cooling with heat recovery ventilation. In addition to LED lighting, the building makes use of natural light and has solar panels of the roof, as well as car charging points in the car park.

An official opening of the new branch will take place on Monday (19 June). Visitors will be given an opportunity to benefit from special one-off trade deals and enjoy a hog roast.
